Ingredients
- Any fish - 500 gram
- Boiled potato x 4 medium and to be mashed
- Crushed ginger 1 tbs
- Crushed garlic 1 tbs
- Green chili x 1
- Chopped onion x 1 medium
- Curry leaves
- Garam masala half tsp
- Black pepper powder half tsp
- Red chili powder half tsp
- Lime
- Egg white x 1
- Bread crumb x 1
- Marinate the fish for 5 minutes with lime and salt and little red chili powder. You can either fry it with mustard oil or steam it. After cool, remove the bones and mince the fish,
- Heat oil and saute onion until brown. Add crushed ginger and garlic.
- Add curry leaves and green chili.
- Add in fish.
- Add half tsp garam masala, half tsp black pepper powder, little red chili powder.
- Put in mashed potato.
- When the fish mix is cool, make small balls.
- Dip in egg white and roll with bread crumbs.
- Pan fry on small fire in mustard oil.
- Serve with lime/lemon wedges and onion slices. Or green chutney. And of course, whisky is best :)
